The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enrique Suero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Ariando, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Universitario Pincharrata's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Otsoko came free, but Javier Frederik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Benito Ariando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Universitario Pincharrata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Ariando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

D10S's Mieszko Ciechocki was substituted for Federico Otsoko. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Ariando was the one to do the kick off. Fedot Khokhlov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Enrique Suero made a huge save. Javier Frederik had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Dave Macchia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Santiago Ascacíbar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Universitario Pincharrata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave D10S the free kick. Santiago Ascacíbar kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Universitario Pincharrata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Ascacíbar to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Suero made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Fedot Khokhlov sent off a good shot on target. Mieszko Ciechocki might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Frederik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A collision led to D10S getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mieszko Ciechocki hit a great ball. Universitario Pincharrata's Javier Frederik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mieszko Ciechocki in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match D10S got a corner. Universitario Pincharrata's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dave Macchia ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on D10S's corner Dave Macchia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Javier Frederik quite easily take care of the ball. Ryan West sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Universitario Pincharrata's Ryan West in 87 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Enrique Suero guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Javier Frederik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Ciechocki in the 90th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Universitario Pincharrata failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
