After taking down the ball on C.A Huracan's corner Arnoldo Karmel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucio Afonso quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Lucio Afonso managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when C.A Huracan's Timoteo Machado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lucio Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Helgerud in the 20th minute of play. Delmiro Dominic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Braga in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, TALLERES DE CBA's Lucio Afonso got control of the ball when Lars Helgerud tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.A Huracan's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Helgerud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Emanuele Luzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Dominic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The TALLERES DE CBA fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when TALLERES DE CBA's Antonio Bernard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timoteo Machado was the one to do the kick off. TALLERES DE CBA's Lucio Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Karmel in the 52nd minute of play. TALLERES DE CBA were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after C.A Huracan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ronaldo Pika took the corner. Antonio Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Delmiro Dominic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucio Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Karmel in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match C.A Huracan got a corner. TALLERES DE CBA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnoldo Karmel ran over to the corner to take the kick. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Mauro Ricart in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A Huracan's Fausto Elixio. C.A Huracan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnoldo Karmel in the 87th minute. The corner ended in Fausto Elixio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TALLERES DE CBA's Lucio Afonso did a great save. Lucio Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Basso in the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Bernard got free with Delmiro Dominic in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The TALLERES DE CBA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
