Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Saverio Fidele successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Saverio Fidele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Rufio came free, but Matías Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Bierhoff struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Saverio Fidele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Delfines. Matías Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suban Arriba in the 15th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Baldomero Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Torbjörn Hökqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matías Patrone came out and tried to block the shot, but Torbjörn Hökqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 84th minute. Matías Patrone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torbjörn Hökqvist in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chelco FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
