After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Kent Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. After having played for 30 minutes, Kent Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Lindberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Fidensio made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ronaldo Pika. Kent Lindberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Afonso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Kent Lindberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Lucio Afonso made a huge save. Lucio Afonso made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ambrosio Ostadar sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, TALLERES DE CBA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kent Lindberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Bernard to make the kick off. Antonio Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 董希雄 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucio Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 董希雄 in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 董希雄 in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Afonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by 董希雄 in the 65th minute of play forced TALLERES DE CBA's goalkeeper Lucio Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by TALLERES DE CBA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felix Marino was slow to take the kick. During this time Mercado Paulista F.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Mercado Paulista F.C's 董希雄 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 72nd minute of the match Mercado Paulista F.C got a corner. TALLERES DE CBA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Marino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Mercado Paulista F.C's Hans Doss getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 84th minute, 董希雄 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mercado Paulista F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Mauro Ricart kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mercado Paulista F.C had won after a very even match.
