Los Delfines's Matías Patrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josemir Lujambio in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Denis Dolmos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josemir Lujambio in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matías Patrone saved Los Delfines from getting behind. In the 15thth minute of the game Josemir Lujambio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Delfines's Matías Patrone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Atlético Argentino's Josemir Lujambio in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Delfines's goalie prevented a goal. Los Delfines's Raimundo Goyo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Meder Fabelo in the 17 minute of the game. Matías Patrone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josemir Lujambio's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Argentino's zone, Oliver Bierhoff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Dolmos came out of the goal and Oliver Bierhoff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Dolmos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Piarres in the 25th minute of the match. David Piarres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matías Patrone having to make a save. Josemir Lujambios short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Matías Patrone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 29 minutes Los Delfines's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eufemio Yabbarov who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Atlético Argentino's David Piarres to fire away a dangerous shot which Matías Patrone despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Meder Fabelo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Matías Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josemir Lujambio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Dolmos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Meder Fabelo during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Los Delfines's Victor Jerrold was substituted for Hector Abadia. In the 38th match minute, Atlético Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meder Fabelo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when Atlético Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meder Fabelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Oliver Bierhoff made the kick off in the second half. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Piarres in the 50th minute of play. In the 52nd minute of the match Atlético Argentino got a corner. Los Delfines's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eufemio Yabbarov ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Atlético Argentino's Mao Shu Gang to fire away a dangerous shot which Matías Patrone despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Atlético Argentino were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Los Delfines's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eufemio Yabbarov took the corner. In the 53rd minute, Mao Shu Gang fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Matías Patrone. David Piarres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 56 minutes, Josemir Lujambio made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Matías Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josemir Lujambio in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Victor Jerrold fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Denis Dolmos, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denis Dolmos. That made the score 2-2 after 84 minutes of play. In the 91st minute, Zachary Pliszka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Delfines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Atlético Argentino's Thananiti Cheewawipat was substituted for David Piarres.
