Spectators: 8071 (Terracing: 6055, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oliver Bierhoff kicked off to start the match. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Sama in the 7th minute of play. Teofilo Faro was a little too slow when Oliver Bierhoff got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilo Faro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Astudillo in the 22nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Paulo Maldini in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Delfines's Raimundo Goyo. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by CA Trapito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valentin Primeiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Delfines's players had a chance to rest. Valentin Primeiro made a great header on Los Delfines's corner, it was just that CA Trapito's Teofilo Faro managed to reach the ball for a save. Teofilo Faro was a little too slow when Oliver Bierhoff got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-0. 32 minutes into the game, Oliver Bierhoff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Teofilo Faro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 35th minute of play forced CA Trapito's goalkeeper Teofilo Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Tristan Sama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Bierhoff got free with Teofilo Faro in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute Tristan Sama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Tristan Sama made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilo Faro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Los Delfines's Victor Jerrold was substituted for Oran Gutti. Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka was substituted for Oliver Bierhoff. After 74 minutes of play, Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Faro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teofilo Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Goyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, Raimundo Goyo made a precise shot to the right of Teofilo Faro. CA Trapito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Delfines fans cheered their team off the field, for while CA Trapito had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
