In the 7th minute of the match Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 got a corner. Los Delfines's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Froilan Mendiko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's Bernabe Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 8th minute of play. Dariusz Nikodemski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Matías Patrone made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Oliver Bierhoff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe Benat. Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliver Bierhoff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Los Delfines's attentive José Luis Brown managed to snatch the ball when Epifanio Mannie made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. After 20 played minutes Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Mendiko. Matías Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Nikodemski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 27th minute of play forced Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's goalkeeper Bernabe Benat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Benat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Bierhoff made a kick off. With his leg Bernabe Benat managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Timoteo Domiku scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matías Patrone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's Bernabe Benat got control of the ball when Lu Bin Yuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute Arquímedes Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Arquímedes Cesario put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bernabe Benat. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
