Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Alejandro Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After taking down the ball on POSSE 1911 FC's corner Alfredo Di Marco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alejandro Terciero quite easily take care of the ball. Elpidio Mero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Angel Xabel made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Sérgio Aguero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Terciero was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Olo in the 71st minute of play forced POSSE 1911 FC's goalkeeper Angel Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in POSSE 1911 FC's zone, Elpidio Mero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Xabel came out of the goal and Elpidio Mero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Mero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Terciero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sérgio Aguero went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. POSSE 1911 FC's Angel Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Olo in the 96th minute of play. Many of Pinocho Pelotari F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Pinocho Pelotari F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but POSSE 1911 FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
