When Basarab Trif fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arroyito FC's protests and gave Basarab Trif a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Arroyito FC booed when Milferio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jónsteinn Ásbjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Venancio Etor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Javiar skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 16th minute of play forced Milferio's goalkeeper Celso Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terry Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arroyito FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Terry Jamieson was slow to take the kick. During this time Milferio's players had a chance to rest. Terry Jamieson made a great header on Milferio's corner, it was just that Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Jonatan Iraitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milferio's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Iraitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Navarro Montoya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Terry Jamieson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Navarro Montoya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Terry Jamieson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milferio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Milferio's Celso Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 28th minute of play. When Venancio Etor came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Arroyito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Etor couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Qi Di Di hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40thth minute of the game Terry Jamieson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute Terry Jamieson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Nico-Jan van der Aa put in a rough tackle. The score was 1-1 after a penalty in the 47th minute, where Arroyito FC:s Gervasio Unax tricked Milferio:s Celso Javiar with a difficult ball by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Celso Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya got control of the ball when Jonatan Iraitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arroyito FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Venancio Etor in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervasio Unax in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Javiar saved Milferio from getting behind. Milferio's Celso Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Kvita in the 75th minute of play. Celso Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Kvita, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd match minute, Milferio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terry Jamieson to maneuver through the defense. Milferio made a substitution. Pablo Herensuge replaced Terry Jamieson. Terry Jamieson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Gabriel-Omar Santirso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Javiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 89th minute of play forced Milferio's goalkeeper Celso Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milferio made a substitution. Prospero Avellaneda replaced Jonatan Iraitz. When the referee ended the match the Arroyito FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
