Húsares's Fabio Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Jax in the 3rd minute of play. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save GERLIROJO Ψ from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Húsares's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Jax came free, but Fabio Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genaro Tauro in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Quintyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Quintyn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabio Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Jax in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 minutes Húsares's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolas Salomon who took care of the corner kick. Andres Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Húsares getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Reginaldo Dias hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Florencio Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Tauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

GERLIROJO Ψ's Eleuterio Benvido was substituted for Arnout Van den Wyngaert. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Ferran was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the GERLIROJO Ψ defense, Florencio Ferran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Lastur. The GERLIROJO Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Lastur should have stopped the shot. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Ferran in the 58th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Húsares's Florencio Ferran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Lastur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Aquilino Ihintza replaced Roger Bouget. Húsares made a substitution. Teobaldo Ibon replaced Florencio Ferran. Ubaldo Kismi made a great header on Húsares's corner, it was just that GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 83rd minute, GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabio Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 98 minutes into the game, Húsares's Teobaldo Ibon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andres Lastur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
