Mías Khalifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Dabi came free, but Mías Khalifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Ostrowski. After a rather tough play, Reyes F.C.'s Ceferino Heli got a free kick in the 49th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristides Dabi made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Tartalo got free with Mías Khalifa in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
