In the 10th minute Tobias Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mías Khalifa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Simbo FC's Tincho Palermo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Flamme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tincho Palermo in the 17th minute of play forced Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Rafael Flamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Leheren came free, but Mías Khalifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Furia Calamar's Rafael Flamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tincho Palermo in the 20th minute of play. Mías Khalifa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Reynardo in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 minutes Furia Calamar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sabri Ravelli who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Simbo FC's Sabri Ravelli to fire away a dangerous shot which Rafael Flamme despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With his leg Mías Khalifa managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Furia Calamar's Baldomiro Reynardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tincho Palermo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Flamme saved Furia Calamar from getting behind. In the 34th minute Baldomiro Reynardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mías Khalifa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Nafarroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Flamme having to interfere. Tincho Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Flamme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, Simbo FC's Mías Khalifa got control of the ball when Hipolito Manni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mías Khalifa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julián Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Mías Khalifa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Honorato Bibiano hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Simbo FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Furia Calamar's Niklas Alströmer was substituted for Gong Ning Hui. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romain Berrewouts to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Furia Calamar defense, Romain Berrewouts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Flamme. The Furia Calamar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Flamme should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Reynardo in the 59th minute of play forced Simbo FC's goalkeeper Mías Khalifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Julián Quintero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furia Calamar's supporters rose to their feet, but Julián Quintero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mías Khalifa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romain Berrewouts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Flamme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romain Berrewouts in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Nestor Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafael Flamme. The goal made the score 0-4. Rafael Flamme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romain Berrewouts in the 76th minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Romain Berrewouts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Furia Calamar's Rafael Flamme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romain Berrewouts in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Flamme saved Furia Calamar from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romain Berrewouts in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Flamme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Simbo FC's goalkeeper Mías Khalifa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Alströmer in the 94th minute of play forced Simbo FC's goalkeeper Mías Khalifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Niklas Alströmer notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Simbo FC's Mías Khalifa. Mías Khalifa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conrado Savion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mías Khalifa having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Simbo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
