Hernan Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Galsino in the 15th minute of play. Quentin Ladra succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Antonis Polichronos was slow to take the kick. During this time Boldenona's players had a chance to rest. In the 42nd minute Expreso del oeste were awarded a corner. Jason Ghost went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 44th minute Dániel Mayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Expreso del oeste's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonis Polichronos was slow to take the kick. During this time Boldenona's players had a chance to rest. The Expreso del oeste players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Boldenona were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dániel Mayer to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Quentin Ladra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Fernanco was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. Boldenona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jason Ghost was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Expreso del oeste's Yuriy Andronikov was substituted for Constantino Lartaun. In the 83rd minute of the match, Quentin Ladra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hernan Fernanco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 85 minutes into the match, Boldenona's goal looked a bit too open when Gaby Diares came free, but Luciano Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dániel Mayer came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hernan Fernanco could save by the left post. After 89 played minutes Boldenona got a freekick which was hit by Severino Galsino. Expreso del oeste's Honorio Mikeldi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dániel Mayer in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hernan Fernanco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 93 minutes into the game, Dániel Mayer lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Hernan Fernanco. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Boldenona walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
