Juniors FC's Eduard Isac quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Uriel Isias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Big Hands having to make a save. 11 minutes into the game, Ramon Pueblo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lázaro Colon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severino Garikoitz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Cirilo Arlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Lázaro Colon made a huge save. After 21 minutes of play, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lázaro Colon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lázaro Colon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Pueblo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB were awarded a corner. Cirilo Arlo went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Mauricio Ticho drilling the ball in to score 4-0 behind Juniors FC's goalkeeper. 35 minutes into the match, Daniel Loi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Big Hands. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Loi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Arlo got free with Lázaro Colon in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Juniors FC from getting a goal against them. Ramon Pueblo scored 5-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Colon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Cirilo Arlo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lázaro Colon. That made the score 6-1 after 47 minutes of play. Juniors FC made a substitution. Enrique Frasco replaced Uriel Isias. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

Lázaro Colon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Cirilo Arlo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lázaro Colon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cirilo Arlo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lázaro Colon having to make a save. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Cirilo Arlo notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon. Lázaro Colon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eduard Isac hit a great ball. Juniors FC made a substitution. Jerzy Piszczor replaced Daniel Loi. Eduard Isac kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ramon Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Colon having to interfere. Lázaro Colon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Pueblo's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Arlo in the 91st minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Juniors FC defense, Ramon Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Colon. The Juniors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Colon should have stopped the shot. Cirilo Arlo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
