Adam Jönsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gordon Banks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Jönsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfonso Pacifico kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Joel Eder kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gordon Banks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Olayo in the 21st minute. HFA FC's Gordon Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Dei in the 24th minute of play. Rigoberto Olayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Gordon Banks made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Dorival Sarmento notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of HFA FC's Gordon Banks. The HFA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gordon Banks should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, HFA FC's Alfonso Pacifico got a free kick in the 89th minute. HFA FC's Gordon Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Peso in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aggelos Lazopoulos in the 94th minute of play forced HFA FC's goalkeeper Gordon Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, BEIJO CARNAVAL's Richard Peso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gordon Banks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0.
