The audience thought a goal was coming when Guter Tobia got free with Everardo Mendebal in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrique Perico hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Damian Tulio scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Bakar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcial Bakar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Guter Tobia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Mendebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's zone, Guter Tobia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Mendebal came out of the goal and Guter Tobia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Iker Bartolome hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's goalkeeper Everardo Mendebal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guter Tobia.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guter Tobia made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Guter Tobia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aves Negras's supporters rose to their feet, but Guter Tobia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Mendebal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's Luis Salbatore was substituted for Venancio Inko. The corner led Aves Negras's Enrique Perico to fire away a dangerous shot which Everardo Mendebal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Guter Tobia came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Aves Negras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guter Tobia couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guter Tobia in the 65th minute of play forced El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's goalkeeper Everardo Mendebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aves Negras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enrique Perico in the 66th minute. After 69 played minutes El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa got a freekick which was hit by Luis Salbatore. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
