An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Erramu in the 21st minute of play forced HFA FC's goalkeeper Gordon Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermengildo Brun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Gorka, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 26 minutes HFA FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isidoro Boni who took care of the corner kick. Basilio Evarado tried in the 26th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Gordon Banks a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-4. In the 29th minute, C.J. De la Sotta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HFA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. 32 minutes into the match, Deportivo Jeremías SL's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Chinto came free, but Hermengildo Brun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Locaio got free with Gordon Banks in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute of the match, Hermengildo Gorka tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hermengildo Brun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when C.J. De la Sotta got free with Hermengildo Brun in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the game, HFA FC's Serafino Chinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With a little luck, Deportivo Jeremías SL's Hermengildo Brun got control of the ball when Serafino Chinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermengildo Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Gorka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Deportivo Jeremías SL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. HFA FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
