Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Héctor Mainer ran back to his position shaking his head. Genaro Quiroga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Mainer, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 32ndth minute of the game Romulo Casado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Jacobo Mendiko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristo Restu was slow to take the kick. During this time River Plate's players had a chance to rest. Nicolás Otamendi kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Jacobo Mendiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Casado in the 84th minute of the match. When River Plate's Romulo Casado in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
