Timoteo Cordarin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Timoteo Cordarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Raúl Amuchástegui in the 19th minute of the match. Timoteo Cordarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Péron, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Godfredo Cordarin came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Naboonga OFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Cordarin couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Péron was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Forever Tango's Paolo Péron slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Timoteo Cordarin. That made the score 0-5 after 55 minutes of play. Ruben Abastas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Timoteo Cordarin made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Forever Tango's Juan Raúl Amuchástegui ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Timoteo Cordarin. Timoteo Cordarin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Omar Santo, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Paolo Péron took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Timoteo Cordarin to make any attempt to save it. Paolo Péron succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 82nd playminute. Timoteo Cordarin made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ruben Abastas sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ruben Abastas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forever Tango's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Abastas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Cordarin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natalio Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Timoteo Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Forever Tango's Ruben Abastas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timoteo Cordarin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. In the 95th minute, Natalio Benet made a precise shot to the right of Timoteo Cordarin. Naboonga OFF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. When the match was over Forever Tango could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Naboonga OFF throughout the match.
