In the 10th minute Alvaro Eusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Quiroga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Eusko came free, but Genaro Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Romulo Casado sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Eleuterio Efraim got a free kick in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Eusko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Quiroga was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The STARK F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
