Santa Lucia de Merlo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matheu City FC the free kick. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Rozarius in the 7th minute of play. M. Agus Young came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Celedonio Eguen could save by the left post. M. Agus Young struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Celedonio Eguen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Lucia de Merlo. M. Agus Young's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Eguen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Celedonio Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from M. Agus Young in the 23rd minute of play. Norberto Tino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robinho Salgado's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when M. Agus Young got free with Celedonio Eguen in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Levan Poggenborg got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes, Matheu City FC's Ruperto Serafo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norberto Tino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Matheu City FC reached it. In the 39th match minute, Santa Lucia de Merlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Som to maneuver through the defense. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minas Makris in the 40th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Matheu City FC's Blas Rozarius made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Tino was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Celedonio Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from M. Agus Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Minas Makris got free with Norberto Tino in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levan Poggenborg in the 57th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robinho Salgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Norberto Tino made a huge save. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Santa Lucia de Merlo from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Pascal Som hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Matheu City FC booed when Santa Lucia de Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Som didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Norberto Tino managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Matheu City FC's Robinho Salgado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 70 minutes into the game, Polo Quinteros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Celedonio Eguen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Polo Quinteros took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Eguen. Celedonio Eguen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Norberto Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Matheu City FC's Ruperto Serafo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Norberto Tino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 85thth minute of the game Blas Rozarius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 minutes, Ruperto Serafo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matheu City FC and the Santa Lucia de Merlo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ruperto Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Polo Quinteros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celedonio Eguen having to make a save. Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Polo Quinteros in the 93rd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
