A sloppy throw-in by You Ting in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dragons AFC's Valentin Elorri. Lorenzo Beckman was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Rafael Nisio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Nisio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Nisio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lorenzo Beckman. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Nisio got free with Lorenzo Beckman in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dragons AFC's Lorenzo Beckman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Dragons AFC from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Nisio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dragons AFC's Melquiades Lico managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bengt-Arne Håkansson in the 51 minute of the game. If Rafael Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th match minute, Pendex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Silbestre to maneuver through the defense. Ambrosio Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Pendex's Ruperto Nayely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prime Hock in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the Dragons AFC defense, Rafael Nisio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Beckman. The Dragons AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Beckman should have stopped the shot. Pendex made a substitution. Antonio Inguma replaced Ryan Keuppens. Dragons AFC's Lorenzo Beckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Inguma in the 72nd minute of play. After 81 played minutes Dragons AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Guerau. 82 minutes into the match, Dragons AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Bembe came free, but Lorenzo Beckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pendex's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saul Bembe in the 83rd minute. Pendex's Bengt-Arne Håkansson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lorenzo Beckman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ruperto Nayely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prime Hock in the 85th minute of the match. Lorenzo Beckman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Inguma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Prime Hock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Nayely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Pendex's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
