CACYFA's Lukasz Merski suffered a concussion in the 45th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Mero Quijana's late challenge caught a CACYFA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mero Quijana helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CACYFA booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mero Quijana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half CACYFA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mustafa Barış Yorangil made the kick off in the second half. Erling Halland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Ur having to interfere. Lucio Ur was a little too slow when Erling Halland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-3. Potrero supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CACYFA's performance. The match ended with a win for CACYFA.
