Kaj-Åke Kaká charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Damaso Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Miguel having to make a save. If Damaso Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Miguel had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Franz Beckenbauer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Damaso Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Máté Márton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şehzade Afgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The corner led C.A.M.P's Benicio Maties to fire away a dangerous shot which Máté Márton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 46th minute, Congo Bongo's Damaso Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Sancho to make the kick off. Dani Caceres was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Dani Caceres hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Congo Bongo's Damaso Sancho in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 78th minute, Benedykt Pyrzyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Miguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Andrew Specht made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Iker Atarrabi however managed to control. After having played for 94 minutes, Şehzade Afgan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.M.P's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şehzade Afgan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Máté Márton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şehzade Afgan in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Congo Bongo fully deserved thier win.
