After 14 minutes Hombres de Negro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anthony Bonelli who took care of the corner kick. Jonatan Nahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Mikel Oyarzabal came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Minos short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Jonatan Nahia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hombres de Negro's Jonatan Nahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mino in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Hombres de Negro's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Medina came free, but Jonatan Nahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palermo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anthony Bonelli in the 25th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ceferino Quinteros got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 26 minutes into the match. Jonatan Nahia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Bonelli in the 31st minute of the match. Jonatan Nahia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Mino's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Montrel came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Nahia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Mino in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Mino made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Hombres de Negro's Kaido Onnu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Anthony Bonelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Nahia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Montrel's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Czerny in the 58th minute of the match. With a little luck, Palermo's Alfredo Joey got control of the ball when Mikel Oyarzabal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonatan Nahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Bonelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Alfredo Joey made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Marco Mendez sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Palermo's Alfredo Joey got control of the ball when Inocencio Montrel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Joey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaido Onnu in the 85th minute. Kaido Onnu took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Joey. Hombres de Negro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anthony Bonelli ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Maximino Gonzalez at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Hombres de Negro. 2-1. Palermo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
