Racing Club's Francisco Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bello Cura in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Argentinean Patriots 1816's Isidoro Rio got control of the ball when Gavino Hitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gavino Hitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute of the game Ivan Flor made a throw-in which Anísio Cosme played forward. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Argentinean Patriots 1816 made a substitution. Ben-Ami Ranchin replaced Tomás Frantzes. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Edvin Dalgren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Gavino Hitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentinean Patriots 1816's Isidoro Rio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisco Raymond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bello Cura's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bello Cura came free, but Francisco Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Argentinean Patriots 1816's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ben-Ami Ranchin in the 85th minute. After taking down the ball on Argentinean Patriots 1816's corner Ben-Ami Ranchin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Francisco Raymond quite easily take care of the ball. Racing Club's Ivan Flor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Octavio Frederik, made in the 88th minute of the game. Argentinean Patriots 1816's Bello Cura got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the game, Bello Cura recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francisco Raymond. Bello Cura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3.
