Spectators: 7965 (Terracing: 5975, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ramon Ignatius took the kick off in the first half of the match. When El ultimo's Ramon Ignatius in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Izquierdo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Socorro saved El ultimo from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Ignatius got free with Silvio Bazil in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvio Bazil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Ignatius. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Pisculescu in the 15th minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvio Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Silvio Bazil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Martin Palermo F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Pepillo in the 22nd minute of play forced El ultimo's goalkeeper Vladimiro Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Martin Palermo F.C. defense, Vasile Pisculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Bazil. The Martin Palermo F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Bazil should have stopped the shot. When Vasile Pisculescu came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the El ultimo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasile Pisculescu couldn't finish the play. Ramon Ignatius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Silvio Bazil made a huge save. Vladimiro Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Felipillo in the 38th minute of the match. Narcis Mustață's late challenge caught a El ultimo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narcis Mustață helped the player get up and apologised. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Silvio Bazil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 47 played minutes El ultimo got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Venceslas. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Enrico Giammarino came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vladimiro Socorro could save by the left post. 54 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Pepillo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of El ultimo's Vladimiro Socorro. Vladimiro Socorro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvio Bazil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Izquierdo came free, but Vladimiro Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Tiburcio Pepillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, El ultimo's Ramon Ignatius made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Bazil was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Vasile Pisculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Sebastián Izquierdo was substituted for Giovanni Arósio. El ultimo made a substitution. Slawomir Majak replaced Bernabe Lucero. Sebastián Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vladimiro Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Enrico Giammarino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Sebastián Izquierdo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Slawomir Majak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Bazil having to interfere. The corner led Martin Palermo F.C.'s Celso Felipillo to fire away a dangerous shot which Vladimiro Socorro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Guillermo Izquierdos short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Vladimiro Socorro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The El ultimo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
