The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, pciclon's Pastor Fidele got a free kick in the 60th minute. Vélez Juniors made a substitution. Donato Efraim replaced Alberto Joey. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Fidele in the 64th minute of play. Nemesio Cerilo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Naike went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in pciclon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Vélez Juniors. Cristian Naike stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nemesio Cerilo. 3-1. pciclon made a substitution. Paulo Ferdinand replaced Delmiro Lucado. Pastor Fidele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Fonda in the 97th minute of play forced pciclon's goalkeeper Nemesio Cerilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vélez Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
