The Atlético Montserrat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ruben Blades's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mickaël Landreau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Paulo Admon went to the cornerflag to take it. Börge Sefastsson made a great header on Mitutonio F. C.'s corner, it was just that Atlético Montserrat's Mickaël Landreau managed to reach the ball for a save. Mickaël Landreau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Savion Lacalle's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Victorino Gai's late challenge caught a Atlético Montserrat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorino Gai helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Mitutonio F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Gai to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atlético Montserrat had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
