A collision led to Encarale a la gordita getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Osvaldo Mendebal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Balc in the 29th minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Shao Shu Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stone City were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Encarale a la gordita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dalmacio Rufio took the corner. The corner ended in Mai Yi Xu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Encarale a la gordita's Shao Shu Lang did a great save. After 33 played minutes Stone City got a freekick which was hit by Lucho Cal. 武光星 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragomir Marchovski having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Osvaldo Mendebal in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Stone City's Lucho Cal. Osvaldo Mendebal kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Stone City's Pavel Balc got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When 武光星 came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Encarale a la gordita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 武光星 couldn't finish the play.

Encarale a la gordita's Paulino Senon was substituted for Osvaldo Mendebal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. In the 87th minute Leon Matthäus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shao Shu Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Stone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mai Yi Xu to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Encarale a la gordita players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stone City.
