Ruperto Burni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcial Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Berto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Paulo Pierres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Berto in the 31st minute of the match. If Paulo Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Ricardo Ekaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruperto Burni. Rosales United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Ekaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Melquiades Librado took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ruperto Burni to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Nabar in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Burni saved Rosales United from getting behind.
