Jose Nuñez came out and tried to block the shot, but Guillermo Mitxaut slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Guillermo Mitxaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s goalkeeper Jose Nuñez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Sixto Aragones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chorroarín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ the free kick. After 9 played minutes Chorroarín got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Aragones. The crowd rose to their feet as Chorroarín's Guillermo Mitxaut slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jose Nuñez. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 14th minute Clodoveo Cayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Chorroarín's Guillermo Mitxaut ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jose Nuñez. Jose Nuñez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 20 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mitxaut lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Jose Nuñez. Guillermo Mitxaut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Nuñez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Chorroarín were awarded a corner. Prudencio Socorro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s goalie and right to Sixto Aragones. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Guillermo Mitxaut might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Nuñez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillermo Mitxaut ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Cayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Leheren. Chorroarín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Cayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Guillermo Mitxaut struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Jose Nuñez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorroarín. 38 minutes into the match, Chorroarín's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Jurdan came free, but Leonides Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Mitxaut made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Romero in the 51st minute of play forced ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s goalkeeper Jose Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd match minute, Chorroarín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Socorro to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Chorroarín's goalkeeper Leonides Leheren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Jurdan. Israel Macerio's late challenge caught a Chorroarín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
