Bruno Abeitas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Adrian Clis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Frances got free with Adrian Clis in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Raimundo Guerau fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC 1986 Vinalito's protests and gave Raimundo Guerau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute Hilario Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richmond De Worteleere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Quiroga hit a great ball. Imperio Académico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC 1986 Vinalito the free kick. Imperio Académico made a substitution. Bruno Abeita was slow to take the kick. During this time AC 1986 Vinalito's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bruno Abeita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adrian Clis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amador Igon's late challenge caught a AC 1986 Vinalito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amador Igon helped the player get up and apologised. Amador Igon kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC 1986 Vinalito fans cheered their team off the field, for while Imperio Académico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
