But to his dismay, Lionel Richie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Lionel Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Stanislao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jorge Iribarren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Richie in the 21st minute of play forced Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Pascual Bernat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Iribarren. Sacronas Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Bernat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Denis Stanislao took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Rodriguez. Enzo Rodriguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Enzo Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Stanislao in the 40th minute of play. Óscar Mas hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel Richie came free, but Jorge Iribarren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Txerran kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Lionel Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Iribarren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Tirso in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Bernat to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Denis Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match, Aquiles Mikolas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jorge Iribarren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalkeeper Enzo Rodriguez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kevin Gonzáles hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sacronas Futbol Club's Sixto Ted got a free kick in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Mikolas got free with Jorge Iribarren in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Iribarren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Almada in the 89th minute of play. The corner led to Ernesto Guevara SyD's Marcos Tirso getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ernesto Guevara SyD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
