After 89 minutes Concordia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hilario Tab who took care of the corner kick. Imperio Académico's Cirilo Cugat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agustin Ereinotz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Cirilo Cugat came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Imperio Académico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Cugat couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Concordia's Remigio Mosen got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Concordia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Imperio Académico's performance. The match ended with a win for Imperio Académico.
