The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Israel Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jiang Bo Yan kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Dante Frascuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Frascuelo made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Codruț Domuță sent off a good shot on target. Codruț Domuță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Frascuelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Codruț Domuță's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Frascuelo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Brujas KV's Petruț Dicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Guter in the 24th minute of play. Globalización's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Renato Portalupi scored to the left of an out of position Dante Frascuelo, making the score, 1-0. Dante Frascuelo made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Renato Portalupi sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Dicu having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Globalización's goalkeeper Dante Frascuelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renato Portalupi. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Brujas KV made a substitution. Martin Mundo replaced Israel Otsando. Brujas KV's Conrado Romero was substituted for Torrey Molloy. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Guter made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Romero in the 55th minute of play forced Globalización's goalkeeper Dante Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Globalización getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alejandro Ascencio hit a great ball. Brujas KV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Dionisio Guter scored to the left of an out of position Petruț Dicu, making the score, 2-1. If Codruț Domuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Portalupi in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Ospin in the 75th minute of play forced Brujas KV's goalkeeper Petruț Dicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute, Martin Mundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brujas KV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Globalización made a substitution. Artemio Urbasa replaced Kang Ke Zhen. 88 minutes into the match, Globalización's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Domuță came free, but Dante Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes of play, Brujas KV's Renato Portalupi made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Frascuelo was left in no man's land by his defense there!
