An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Santio in the 27th minute of play forced Vikings Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Mircea Phoenix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claus Caminero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Roberto Bonano made a huge save. In the 30th minute Vikings Fútbol Club were awarded a corner. Claus Caminero went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Vikings Fútbol Club's corner Claus Caminero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto Bonano quite easily take care of the ball. Valentin Ayala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Roberto Bonano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Roberto Bonano made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Claus Caminero sent off a good shot on target. Mircea Phoenix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Jerardo was the one to do the kick off. Claus Caminero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Bonano having to interfere. Claus Caminero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Pergamino reached it. After 62 played minutes Cesar Egun scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Mircea Phoenix who was too lazy, 1-2. Vikings Fútbol Club's Claus Caminero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roberto Bonano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 77th minute Valentin Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Bonano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Bonano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Ayala in the 79th minute of play. Mircea Phoenix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Jerardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pergamino's goal looked a bit too open when Claus Caminero came free, but Roberto Bonano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Bonano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baltasar Santio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mircea Phoenix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Pergamino walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
