After some careless play in the Kirima FC defense, Federico Insúa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Arias. The Kirima FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Arias should have stopped the shot. Los Liquisue FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Norberto Acevedo in the 25th minute. A nice corner shot did that Norberto Acevedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Arias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Federico Insúa took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Arias. Pedro Arias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Pedro Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Insúa's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Liquisue FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Bembe was slow to take the kick. During this time Kirima FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Juan Bembe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius did a great save. 39 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's Federico Insúa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Insúa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Insúa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Federico Insúa made a kick off. Pedro Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Insúa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kirima FC booed when Los Liquisue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Itzaina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Arias having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Federico Insúa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Pedro Arias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Berzovitis in the 82nd minute of play forced Kirima FC's goalkeeper Pedro Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Liquisue FC from getting a goal against them. The Los Liquisue FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kirima FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
