An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Laguna in the 2nd minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belchior Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, El Gallo de Moron's Vanja Džaferović got a free kick in the 6th minute. El Gallo de Moron's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the La Gallardeta defense, Luisinho Laguna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belchior Saldanha. The La Gallardeta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belchior Saldanha should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Luisinho Laguna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luisinho Laguna came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the El Gallo de Moron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisinho Laguna couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Sebastian Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisinho Laguna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nacho Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 26th minute. El Gallo de Moron's Nacho Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save El Gallo de Moron from getting a goal against them. Jan-Olof Eliasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nacho Gonzalez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Belchior Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Laguna in the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luisinho Laguna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belchior Saldanha was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Martin Cubillos kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Fulgencio Gartzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Gonzalez having to interfere. Belchior Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Laguna, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to El Gallo de Moron getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ermanno Piccone hit a great ball. If Fulgencio Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Abechuco. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisinho Laguna was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jan-Olof Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Gallardeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Olof Eliasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 56th minute of the match. Belchior Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisinho Laguna in the 60th minute. Martin Cubillos made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Gallardeta's Sebastian Abechuco. When Sebastian Abechuco fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Gallardeta's protests and gave Sebastian Abechuco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sebastian Abechuco hit a great ball. Fulgencio Gartzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nacho Gonzalez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Belchior Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisinho Laguna in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute Luisinho Laguna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Garrote went to the cornerflag to take it. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save La Gallardeta from getting a goal against them. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Luisinho Laguna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Luisinho Laguna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belchior Saldanha was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Belchior Saldanha had great luck who in the 87thth minute grab hold of the ball when Luisinho Laguna from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Luisinho Laguna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Belchior Saldanha made a huge save. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Ihazintu charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Ihazintu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save La Gallardeta from getting a goal against them. After 96 minutes La Gallardeta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teofilo Garrote who took care of the corner kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El Gallo de Moron had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
