Ciriaco Selmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Capello in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Fabio Filipo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agustín Rossi. Los Trip's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabio Filipo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Markel, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Capello in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Selmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

55 minutes into the match, Los Trip's Bruno Capello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Selmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciriaco Selmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Castro in the 60th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Trip walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
