But to his dismay, Casimiro Ugutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vicky Donda made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Eugenio Bernal sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Vicky Donda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Juninho Juni got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Didi Papardelas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Didi Papardelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Ugutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Casimiro Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Papardelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piquirenda FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute of the match Nouvelle Vague got a corner. Piquirenda FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juninho Juni ran over to the corner to take the kick. 29 minutes into the game, Eugenio Bernal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicky Donda. Eugenio Bernal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Piquirenda FC's Olgierd Bator managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Villaverde in the 35 minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Vicky Donda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenio Bernal. Eugenio Bernal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicky Donda having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Bernal got free with Vicky Donda in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Vicky Donda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Piquirenda FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
