Serafin Eate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metal Juniors. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Chusca's zone, Gaspar Gerazan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Eate came out of the goal and Gaspar Gerazan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Dennis got free with Serafin Eate in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atletico Chusca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reinaldo Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time Metal Juniors's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Metal Juniors's Reinaldo Castro to fire away a dangerous shot which Serafin Eate despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Sergio Dennis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate. Serafin Eate was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Sergio Dennis came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Metal Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Dennis couldn't finish the play. In the 24th match minute, Club Atletico Chusca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. Serafin Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Dennis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Moreira in the 27th minute of play. Sergio Dennis might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Eate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Dennis ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Dennis. 34 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Moreira came free, but Francisco Nesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Metal Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Custódio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Moreira in the 45th minute of play forced Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Francisco Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Club Atletico Chusca's Sad Boy was substituted for Leonardo Gumaro. Sad Boy made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Metal Juniors's Reinaldo Castro. In the 57th minute of the game Haroldo Phelipe made a throw-in which Sergio Dennis played forward. 61 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's Sergio Dennis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Eate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atletico Chusca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Metal Juniors's Reinaldo Castro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Serafin Eate in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A sloppy throw-in by Miguel Sotero in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Atletico Chusca's Neno Lehchanski. After a rather tough play, Metal Juniors's Reinaldo Castro got a free kick in the 75th minute. 78 minutes in the game, Aristides Santo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Francisco Nesor having to interfere. 83 minutes in the game Antonio Eyague did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Martín Palermo. 87 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Moreira came free, but Francisco Nesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Martín Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Neno Lehchanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martín Palermo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Serafin Eate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
