After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Narciso Miro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alzaga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Miro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Academia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Murillo made a kick off. Alto Moco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tancredo Hondaro got free with Alto Moco in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Tesone in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wojciech Duda saved Academia FC from getting behind.
