In the 6th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wojciech Fiszer to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Lino Rios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. AFC FUSION's Lino Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Lino Rios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The SAN MARTIN F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFC FUSION were winning 0-8.

Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Alejandro Mendebal made a huge save. Alejandro Mendebal was a little too slow when Thiago Silva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-9. Lino Rios scored 0-11 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Mendebal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Lino Rios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Mendebal was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Lino Rios put it in 0-13 from a short distance just to the right of Alejandro Mendebal. If Lino Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC FUSION's Aureliano Arnau was substituted for Wojciech Fiszer. When Lino Rios came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Rios couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Lino Rios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-18. Alejandro Mendebal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC FUSION played a much better game than SAN MARTIN F.C. and deserved their victory. The SAN MARTIN F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
