With a little luck, La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli got control of the ball when Emanuel Barbu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olli Fiedler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Peli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 88th minute Hauk Hareide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Davison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Justino Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sportivo Luan Toro players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
