Michal Prus made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Falconara Albanese's Filip Jaroch. After some careless play in the Falconara Albanese defense, Jacob Albuquerque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Vergaray. The Falconara Albanese fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Vergaray should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Anier Omero threw the ball into play from the sideline. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacob Albuquerque in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Vergaray saved Falconara Albanese from getting behind. Falconara Albanese's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
