The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Aires came free, but Julio Falcioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Dhondt in the 37th minute of play forced Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Rene Aires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loco De Remate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

In the 54th minute of the match, Rene Aires tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Falcioni saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 58th minute, Mehmet Emrah Ruşen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loco De Remate made a substitution. Hıdır Namal replaced Feliciano Iratxo. After 60 played minutes Loco De Remate got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Emrah Ruşen. Hıdır Namal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Julio Falcioni made a huge save. In the 63rd minute Franky Dhondt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerrold Barzana to maneuver through the defense. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Bennvar Back was substituted for Franky Dhondt. A collision led to Loco De Remate getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jerrold Barzana hit a great ball. After 68 minutes of play, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Bennvar Back made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walmir Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Julio Falcioni got control of the ball when Hıdır Namal tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Loco De Remate's Rene Aires in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Falcioni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Aires's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Julio Falcioni made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Hıdır Namal sent off a good shot on target. Loco De Remate made a substitution. Clodoveo Christobal replaced Rene Aires. Loco De Remate's Baškim Sumulikovski was substituted for Bruno Medero. Walmir Catarinense came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Bennvar Back. But to his dismay, Bennvar Back quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Loco De Remate's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
