Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inaki Mirabal in the 5th minute. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Inaki Mirabal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joel Delfino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 20th minute, Abelardo Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Otterlei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Todd Gronow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Delfino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Hans Otterlei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mao Yan Yong hit a great ball. Joel Delfino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Todd Gronow in the 46th minute. Hans Otterlei might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Janpier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Otterlei ran back to his position shaking his head. Abelardo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Otterlei in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Otterlei made a kick off. La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Gronow, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Hans Otterleis short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Abelardo Janpier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Todd Gronow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 67th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Lepper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Cosa Nostra made a substitution. Marciano Bizen replaced Hans Otterlei. Ziemowit Chowaniec made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Todd Gronow. La Cosa Nostra's Steve Hodge managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ziemowit Chowaniec in the 80 minute of the game. In the 81st match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Martxel to maneuver through the defense. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Mariusz Ratulowski replaced Todd Gronow. Sergio Martxel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A hard shot 87 in the game by Marciano Bizen from a close distance when the talented Abelardo Janpier managed to make a qualified save. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's players were relieved. Joel Delfino came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Mariusz Ratulowski. But to his dismay, Mariusz Ratulowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 94th minute, Mariusz Ratulowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC had won after a very even match.
