Seating: 2150, VIP seats: 105) Malcolm Pearson made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Rhys Colley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loyd Beerman. Guernsey's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rhys Colley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 6th play minutes Rhys Colley shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Loyd Beerman and just under the crossbar into goal. Loyd Beerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhys Colley in the 9th minute of the match. Ross Beecham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loyd Beerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Galloway in the 13th minute of play. Roger Arrowsmith's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loyd Beerman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Guernsey's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Arrowsmith came free, but Loyd Beerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Roger Arrowsmith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antony Galloway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loyd Beerman having to interfere. Rhys Colley had several of the Guernsey's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Loyd Beerman as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 28th match minute, Guernsey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerome Howard to maneuver through the defense. Olly May hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Tod Longley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guernsey's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dakar SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Guernsey's Tod Longley got a free kick in the 31st minute. Olly May might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loyd Beerman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olly May ran back to his position shaking his head. Ross Beecham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loyd Beerman having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Spike Parry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dakar SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Spike Parry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rhys Colley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loyd Beerman having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rhys Colley to make the kick off. Jerome Howard was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Antony Galloway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Arrowsmith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Antony Galloway left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dakar SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 68th match minute, Guernsey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lance Watkinson to maneuver through the defense. If Antony Galloway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guernsey's goalkeeper Loyd Beerman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Loyd Beerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhys Colley in the 76th minute of play. Roger Arrowsmith struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Loyd Beerman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dakar SC. Antony Galloway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loyd Beerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Arrowsmith, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Dakar SC's Antony Galloway got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
