6 minutes into the game, Phillip Lancaster cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luke Little was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luke Little showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Lancaster, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Dakar SC's Toby Grainger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luke Little made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 17 minutes, Ronan Morley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockport and the Dakar SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stockport getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ronan Morley hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes, Dakar SC's Rhys Colley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luke Little came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dakar SC reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Phillip Lancaster in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luke Little saved Stockport from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Stockport's Ronan Morley got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Phillip Lancaster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dakar SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Phillip Lancaster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luke Little breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Toby Grainger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ty Laycock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toby Grainger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Little having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Toby Grainger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stockport's Luke Little was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rhys Colley fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dakar SC's protests and gave Rhys Colley a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Dakar SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stockport:s goal. Phillip Lancaster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Little having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Stockport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronan Morley to maneuver through the defense. Toby Grainger struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Luke Little didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dakar SC. Luke Little showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Lancaster, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Bullard was the one to do the kick off. Allan Tinker hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Toby Grainger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56thth minute of the game Phillip Lancaster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stockport's Luke Little was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ty Laycock took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodd Carsley. Rodd Carsley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Toby Grainger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Luke Little tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Dakar SC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Dakar SC's Vance Dryden looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 78 minutes into the game, Alexander Bullard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Rodd Carsley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luke Little showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Lancaster, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A collision led to Stockport getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jimmy Delaney hit a great ball. Phillip Lancaster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Little having to interfere. Toby Grainger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luke Little tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Phillip Lancaster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
